OK, so they are a trusted vendor........But the prices they charge are not in line with what we will pay for the same product within the next couple of weeks.

Are the x5 available in Singapore somewhere? My father is there now on a trip and could pick one up for me. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Collected mine during lunch time earlier today from Treoo.  You can visit their website and speak to the sales person via web message.  Saw few boxes there not sure whether they are all reserved or have some spare unit to sell.

My 2 cents:

What I envision would be something like the X5 + E12 stack all in one box, no need to carry a stack for people.

More neutral without any bass coloration, or shelving down the treble, completely flat neutral without the Fiio "house sound".

You should stick with the same IC chip but do a dual configuration of PCM1704 with tons if power supply and smart filtering. If you don't want to stick with TI, you can also just do Sabre 9018K2M in dual mode too.

*I don't even like touch sreens. I say stick with physical buttons, but with better simpler layout. The "X" style layout of the X3 is not good, nor is the big giant wheel of the X5. I say return to basics and keep everything simple, clean and easy to understand. Big nice buttons in a clean layout. Simplicity is beautiful in my eyes, not to mention functional.

Bummer, just got word from HDPHNS.com... there will be some delay due to manufacturing improvements :(

+1 for the dual DAC.

+1 for buttons rather than touch-screen.

After reading various X5 reviews and comments, I have decided to skip X5 and wait for X7.  For me, it should be detailed, neutral, spacious sounding, and with the ability to drive the best headphones with absolute authority.  No question of it needing an external amp like E12, for portable listening.  The amp section SQ needs to surpass that of the E12.  A true Hi-Fi, one box DAP solution.  If space permits, an SDXC slot would be great.   As for it's appearance, I would prefer that it looks far less Apple-like than the X5; I actually prefer the look of my X3 more.  As for the UI: simple, intuitive and perfectly operational from day one.

whoa whoa whoa... does anyone know what happened with the SanDisk 128gb Micro SD cards? I had it in my cart on Amazon, and it was no longer there, so I looked it up again and it's now going for $240?!

Crap, is this the new price? Was the $119 a special price? Oh my God why did I not order 2 of these when I had the chance? Will these prices be down anywhere.. anyone know of places still selling them for that price?

Man.. what a bummer!

Wow, If I would have known I would have bought 20 and sold some.

I have one still to be delivered April 15th.
