there are not space to put so many components into X3 / X5 if we used hardware crossfeed. for software, maybe we can add it in the future when we have time and our partner can do that.

So, I guess the can opener is out of the question then?biggrin.gif

The last thing I want on any device is some form of crossfeed nonesense.

What if it ends up you who reduces the population?  Would you take one for the "team"?  I know it's going to be me because the deciding factor on who lives and dies is whether you choose Jesus, or Satan.  Yes our twisted government is going to give us that choice one day, and choosing Jesus will cost your life.  I'll gladly die thank you.

Ok back to the X5

I find crossfeed on my rockboxed Cowon extremely useful. Not only does it fix the records with hard panning, it also vastly improves the sound stage.

Are you sure you're not mixing up crossfeed and crossfade? tongue.gif

Wouldn't be the first time I'd seen that happen here. smile_phones.gif

Then I honestly don't understand why you call it nonsense. It's not like someone is asking for a Doom port :D Crossfeed may improve how the music sounds for a lot of people, that's why a lot of headphone amps have it. Personally, for me it makes way more sense than, say, bass boost or shuffle. YMMW, of course.

Instead of just crossfeed, I'll vote for BBE.

nothing better than hitting max-bass on my Z1070 with Led Zep's 'Celebration Day, max volume is a pre-requirement... this seems so confessional, perhaps we should start a 'Equalizer-Anonymous' group... you know the coo, twelve steps to enlightenment.

You could always throw a Digizoid ZO into the mix...basshead.gif

I was wondering if the card readers in the X5 will have some future proofing, and be able to work with cards of larger capacities.  That is as they come available.  The Ibasso DX50 is believed to offer that feature.  But a double reader with that feature would be double the benefit.

Thanks
