You are right but that's automatically done every month, cutting from everything and all. That's how I purchased my ciem and that's how I will purchase my dap too happy_face1.gif

For James:

if you have not already thought about it, please make an integration between the two microSD so that we can see our entire libraries without surfing from a card to another!

And of course let us see the files in folder and do not make a junky UI like the ipod where you must see the music in artist/genre/etc.

Will we have app capabilities on this thing? Such as internet radio apps like pandora and jango?

People are funny. Asking radio or pandora from a reference DAP. Get a smartphone mate, that would do fine for you.

Got a Sony F series Walkman that does both, don't need no stinkin smartphone.... hehe

Look, it was a simple question. You guys want to bash me for it? Go right ahead... *insert expletive here*

So some of you may say, but not all of us are gifted enough to not ask these "funny" questions. Peace out, mates...

The question was fine. Regardless of anyone else's opinion, I also would love to also be able to stream from my reference DAP if it was capable of doing so (and if the price was right, and the battery life was right, etc etc). Why not? As to using my phone for that, yes, that could be done. But I need to be careful about preserving my phone's battery life. Not so much with my DAP, so I would rather use it if possible.

I thought the X5 is supposed to be a couple notches above Walkmans, SQ-wise. Moreover, a WiFi/Bluetooth module would add cost (and bulk) and shorten battery life, while FiiO is striving to maximize the latter (not an easy feat given the intended output power) and minimize the former. Besides, we know it won't use Android, so things like Pandora would need some kind of licensing and extra FW work. I just don't think it's reasonable to expect streaming media from this particular player.

And BTW, is there any lossless internet radio? Just curious.

This. That's why the reaction came in that way. No offense but the answers were already given in this thread previously.
