If above is true - then there cannot possibly be any issues with overcrowding.
Sorry - not meaning to be overly OCD - but it appeared to me you were trying to find possible faults that didn't really exist .....
I was reviewing the C4 Pro at the same time which brought the idea of port crowding into mind.
But this also
There is no point, but I find that a lot of users ask questions about doing stuff like that. Mainly so they don't have to keep plugging and unplugging.
You are right though, the hp out does not work with line out is plugged in as FiiO set it.
It was mainly a point for those that have all the ideas on how to maximize X5 usage. I'm asked all the time about plugging it in here and there, or using it in many places with all these plugs etc. Just something to note to people that like to have a lot of stuff connected.
Rather than find faults that didn't exist. I, as a community fellow, took my existing knowledge of what users keep asking me about or are implying, and used that as one of the points. People generally watch reviews before they buy, or just as they buy something. Not everyone knows what this stuff is or what can be plugged in at once.
In situations where seasoned users like us use an X5, obviously such a point is uneccessary. But, I'm sure, as you have been here for a while as well, that you have heard lots of newcommers asking about using these devices in situations that are not either suitable for them, or in where its not an idea that would work well.
Just a note I added for those people out there. Because many do use these DAP's as static devices.
It's a review of mine, I noted what I believed mattered, just it is all.
