+1 if FiiO will do the same thing and say bye bye to those rubber bands and hello 1 GORGEOUS RIG!

Don't have to be fancy. Just a thin frame of aluminium that consist of a slide that will put both the E12 and X5 together and if possible, make it like as if nothing is in between these two great product. Something that make us feel that they are actually one device xD [although the LO cable may be a spoiler xD

This is my quick fix: rubber stopper - dirt cheap with 100 for $2 on eBay, and it kills two birds with one stone as it also stop dust from getting.

Can we find it in amazon europe websites? What are the search words? I tried some things but couldn't find the exact ones, yours are nice, low profile and all. What I found is only fancy teenager stuff.

I've got the exact same ones. Probably from the same seller even.

Hey James and other users with experience,

So let's say X5 battery life is 14 hours (hopefully?) if I use line out to amp, X5's battery life should be higher right? 20 maybe?

What about using coaxial out? Will it increase the battery life too?

14-20 hours would be amazing :gs1000smile:

I understand that the X5 will be uber powerful but I am bummed out by the battery life.

My Cowon J3 has a 64 hour battery life and I get very close to that, charge it about 1-2 a month. The Cowon D20 gets even better with 90 hour battery life...

Yeah, but the J3 can't drive multi-BA CIEMs with proper authority (and I say that even though I am a fan of the J3, generally-speaking, as a very usable general-purpose, mainstream DAP).

Voila:

Link          Yes, it's non-magnetic, too
