No.

According to Fiio board, they have not started any concrete work on X7 yet but of coz they are currently open to ideas. So far they have not turned down ideas like balance output but seems to have reservation for ideas like opamp rollable or amp card. In the near future, i think it will be the X5 as their high end DAP and you can always wait forever for the next best thing to come.

I think their more immediate focus will be to ensure x5 quality but not a bad idea to open an x7 thread to gather input

4" screen, Muses01, 128gb plus 2 SD card slots, 15-20hr battery, 500mw per channel and a slightly fatter and wider form factor than the X3 would be great. No rollable opamps or amp cards.

it will be very very costly if u want a fluid android tablet otherwise tablet with ****ty internals will be totally useless and laggy.

not a good idea at all

1)ios is fluid and minimal requirements but apple is not into these audiophile gear stuff,,so its ruled out

2)windows will be pretty costly plus who will make it??certainly not nokia

3)ubuntu/linux??

i don't think its possible at an affordable price.

linux would be the best option, however it would still be minimal.

this idea is a great idea but at this time not doable i think.

A step in that direction (allegedly uses ES9018-2M, but is not full audiophile, and has very poor storage capacity):

I read a recent interview with Dr Fang in Chinese and he did not think highly of the SQ of these cellphones. He felt that they are doing it with a lot of constraints.

As for the audiophile tablet, I would actually pay a bit more since I can see myself using it daily for listening to music when commuting to work, checking some emails/schedule, surfing head-fi, using it in meeting and commuting back home....

It seems that the current technology requires dedicated DAP for audiophile SQ...

Anyway, just throwing an idea out..

As I said, the Vivo Xplay 3s is a step in the right direction, for those seeking an audiophile tablet (not me), but it's not there yet.

Lovely screen, though.

Personally, I have absolutely zero desire to see an X7 with a screen any larger than 4.3"
