you're welcome tongue_smile.gif

umm i had PS Audio Digital Link III with a vlink usb/spdif converter. i feel this is the weak link in my system (no pun intended), compared to some of the other dac's i heard, i can see this is just slightly lacking in soundstage/detail. but it is cheap now and still pretty good.

i had 6GL7 and 596 for my planars, and EML 5U4G and 6DE7 for my senns.

Thanks to all who made this happen. It was fun to hang out and I really enjoyed the Elac mini monitors!

Thank you for bringing out all that great gear!

Thanks to everyone who brought their gear out, I had a blast listening to all the different setups. The SR-009's are unbelievable... but we already knew that. bigsmile_face.gif

I also really enjoyed the balanced Mad Dogs, fantastic headphones at a great price. The HD800 and WA2 were also quite nice together.

Yes they did disappear sonically which was amazing in such a small room. They appeared to be very synergetic with the creek integrated amp.I  had heard these at axpona in march but they sounded kind of bright and a bit shrill but I do  not remember what amp they were using. But they did not sound anything like that in the tweak room.

Personally even though I heard a lot of great sounding set ups, though not all, the one that floated my boat was the allnic tube headphone amp.I really loved the way it sounded with the hifi man he 500s.
