It looks to be pretty portable. That's good news :).

It's tough to read in the picture, but I think it says they're using ES9018.

Very nifty. I wish someone would make an ES9018 amp / DAC with coax inputs so I can try it out with an X3.

Looks like ES9023 to me!

Yeah, I'm almost sure that it is a 23 and not an 18 at the end.

The battery needed for a decent ES9018 DAC would probably not fit inside that case! Plus, it would be at a price point which would preclude its being called "D-Zero". It would almost certainly have a new model name more appropriate to its position in the product hierarchy.

Will the Slurpee have a silver straw? It really makes a night and day difference and brings out the raspberry flavor so much better than the copper straws.

But the measurement of FR (Flavour Response) says that the copper straw is better than the Silver Straw thanks to having more bend that enables the slurpee to be passed as closed as it is possible to the original

Thanks for the advice guys. I just ordered a SPC curly straw with an amp for the slurpee. Hopefully it'll taste as good as it should! Gotta intensify that cola!

Dude if you want to intensify the cola, you should use Canadian Maple Wood cup top , the cup top is measured to have a good response to stream of cola

.....who says no news is good news?

Maple colors the flavor too much and does not distribute the soda molecules to the taste buds as originally intended. I want my soda to taste exactly the same as it tasted when it was made in the factory, otherwise we may as well defecate on the ancestral grounds of the person responsible for the original recipe. Please do not speak of sacrilegious wood being used for a cup top ever again.

Precisely why we should not apply the maple cup top. With it in use, we lack the detail of each micro sized ice cube in the slurpee. Just not a good synergy.

I think for the straw, to get a good suck with a tight seal to the lips, we will require a custom molded straw to fulfil that desire. As Doublea71 had mentioned, we want it to taste exactly as it did when it was fresh out of production, none of that coloured artificial flavour.

I think what could do a better job over the maple cup top would be an anti-slip mat cup holder to preserve the coldness of this beverage, and provide it with the some grip stability.

but if you use anti slip mat cup holder , the FR graph will change 1 nm to the left , that is sacrilege , by doing that you are also blocking the cold feel you can get from your hand as appointed by this numbers

(no seriously , this convo made me laugh , thanks guys made my day"
