JVC HA-SZ2000/1000 Impressions Thread - Page 27

These don't have any crossovers so there won't be any integration problems. remember guys - these use kelton band pass system, In other words - both drivers are full range but because of the differences in the driver size, materials and the band pass system, they sound different from each other, thus complementing each other.

oh and about the amp - what amplifiers do you use? I'm going to get fiio x3 which should have quite a powerful amp so do you think it will be "enough" for sz2000?

I wonder how these cans compare to the HE-400 I was thinking about buying. When are these out in the United States?

The X3 should be alright, a more powerful amp should be better though.

Soundstage seems alright for a closed can. No complaints there.

What is the difference with the 2000 and the 1000

Any word on isolation?

thanks for the reply. I highly doubt it, but if it appears that the amp in the x3 isn't enough, I may get fiio e12. and speaking of e 12 - are you gonna use it while testing the sz2000 too?

No, I shall be using a PB2 and an Arrow 4G.

Isolation is actually good.

No leakage until you push the volume really up and even then the person next to you can hear the drivers working out.

I expected a deep soundstage. They're so damn big! I just choosing between the KEF M500 and these.
