It's marketing. This gets the customer to spend more money ;)

Well... the 2000s are like $450 over at eBay so, I'll definitely wait for it to come closer to the "original" $350 or less. I'd definitely like to try them.

(Wonder if they'll sound anything like their "older" HA-DX700/HA-DX1000 ...)

I'm very anxious to hear some input on these new JVC's. Especially from an "audiophile basshead" perspective (hereby coined for the upgraded basshead experience from the XB500 style cans to the refined D2000/Pro900 or even Q40 quality headphones).

That's a pretty good trade, as the M-100's cost considerably more than the WS99. How are you liking them?

Definitely YMMV, as I have heard some people say they prefer the WS99 over the M-100 and Sony 1R.

I was curious how ati832 would compare them.

interested in this headphone but seems still does not have review on it?

Needs time to reach reviewers buddy. Even I am waiting for my set.

Has anyone else seen the size of the headphone jack? By modern headphone standards, this thing is huge! I guess it matches the size of the cans o2smile.gif.

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 90

It's not that big, pretty much standard for studio cans that are meant to be used with a 1/4" adaptor most of the time. But pretty huge compared to portable cans.

I am waiting for Tenso to come through. Looking forward to big bass and a big sound.

Once they are gone from tenso, you'll get them amazingly fast.
