I know this might already have been answered, but is the cable removable?
No, it isn't, unfortunately.
Probably has something to do with sound quality.

Does anybody know what the crossover frequency is? Thanks.

where's the review?

Still in progress, I'm trying to burn these as much as possible. Organising my wedding too so running hot.

Are these dual driver then?

Yup, a 55mm subwoofer and a 30mm mid/high driver, both CNT. Needs a fair bit of power to get going.

how do you mean? from the specs (low impedance and high sensitivity) i was under the impression theyd actually be pretty "easy to drive"?

Compared to the audio technica ws99's, are the highs brighter/more piercing on the sz2000 - or are they better just in the sense that they offer more resolution/better soundstage? I hate bright sounds with a passion and like the highs on the ws99's a lot, as I can pump on the volume without any discomfort.

The highs are very high resolution and not fatiguing at all. Better than the WS99 as vocals shine as they should.
By power hungry I mean more power leads to deeper bass and a bigger sound. They power off my S4 just fine but good amplification pushes them to a different dimension.

Hmmm interesting, I wonder if this messes with the integration of mid/low/highs...

Nope, crossover seems well integrated. No crossing over of frequencies.

Do they have a big soundstage ?
