Hi, all

I just lost a pair of LiveWires duals, and am now researching my next upgrade, and I'd like some feedback from those who have a few IEMS around the UE11Pro price range.

I have a few requirements:
  1. I am prone to loosing things on planes (travel a lot) so the ability to send in custom artwork ala "Lost, please call" on the IEMs is important to me. In a perfect world, I would like to get a template graphic to use and just photoshop my own.
  2. These are going to be driven most of the time by an iPhone 5 or later iPhone model, so to the degree that these IEMs are well paired to the iPhone DAC as well as the availability of an iPhone inline mic/control cable is important. Im also interested to what degree you feel these cables interfere with the response. Ideally, I'd like to see a tuned system. I am not sure to what degree the iPhone circuitry int he mic/control hardware limits just how "high end" I should even be going.

I feel like the above two are requirements for my next IEM.

Currently, Im using Bowers and Wilkins C5s, which I feel do much better than my old LiveWires, though they need some time to settle in still. Essentially Im feeling like B&WC5>LiveWires in terms of signature and capabilities.

Any feedback on where I should be steering?

J
