Having heard mine through a number of amps now I agree, tubes seem to be the best synergy!

The T70 ought to be able to be driven by the X3, right?

Mine sounds quite acceptable on the fiio e10 at work.  Not sure how the x3 compares though.  They don't really need a huge amount of power.

X3 is supposed to be better than e10, so I think it'd be fine.

I have a T1 arriving in a day or two.  Amps:  Bellari HA540 with a vintage Telefunken tube and a portable setup with ALO Audio MKll is this enough power for the T1?

I am being absolutely blown away by the T1 o_o It blows my hd600s and dt 990 600ohms entirely out of the water.  I feel like I'm just swimming through the music. Amazing.  Listening through my Yulong d100 mkii.

Initial impressions: They fixed the two minor quibbles I had with the 990s.  The treble was a touch too hot on occasion and the mids a tad recessed at times.  Here they are perfect to my ears.  Not to mention the leap forward in clarity and separation of the instruments.  I couldn't be happier.

yup!

can't stand it when people say dt 880/990 are almost the same as T1, cause they're definitely not.

T1 and Alo RxmkII is a real nice (portable) and comfortable combo! Minor issue is use of convertor plug to connect to 3,5mm jack. It's less comfort having that bulky connector.

But that's my only complain... :-)

Maybe a recalling from BTG Audio is in order?

:-) Could be... But I mostely use my earbuds with RXmkII. Much easier to put in my pockets!
