I expect the T5p to be tested before any reliable judgement can be made.

then you will have to be the one to test it

It's hard to find any info on the T51p. I wonder if everyone is apprehensive because of the T50p's reputation?

I'll have it soon!

The T51p?

that's correct

Very nice! I look forward to hearing your impressions. I've been on the fence between the T51p and the DT 1350.

I did not like the DT1350 so we'll see...

Hurrah! At last somebody has shown interest in the new T51p product.

I have the DT1350 and I don't like it, but I don't dislike it either. I'm hoping the T51p is going to right where I like it.

That's the one! But it's not an official version

Good to read some impressions about the T51p. Does it aim for the T5p sound in a small more portable format?

What was experimental about this DT1350?

Yes, same to me. Sometimes I really like my M-100 with its very prominent bass, but most of the time I prefer the DT1350 sound signature... its just right for my taste. The M-100 is more comfortable to me though.

They position the T51p as a consumer product of course, while the DT1350 caters to a different audience. We seem to fall into that latter category I guess ;-)

Really,

he explained all the differences to me and those definitely made a sound difference. But who cares really, we won't get to buy it anyway :D

Yes, might be nice to have the DT1350 in their customs program... But I like their default looks, so thats no issue to me.
