Ah, darn. All the same, I'll try to load up some tracks to my USB drive. I find it more accurate to listen to new gear with music I'm pretty familiar with

Burn a sampler CD as well.

I actually started using MOG after playing around with it at the mini-meet last time.

Good stuff!

Actually MOG consistently streams 320 kbps whereas Spotify sucks big time in terms of quality unless you have premium.

I think you're being a bit hyperbolic. Spotify sounds close enough to my actual tracks saved on my computer. It's certainly leagues ahead of any youtube video

Besides, MOG is a subscription based service. Spotify is completely free, with a rare ad here or there.

$4.99 a month for no ads and 320k quality via any web browser is worth it IMHO.

Bring both, I have both as well, but I've got other stuff to bring, and I may have a different revision of the Mad Dog.

I'll be there with some of my gear, looking forward to it.

I would really like to try some ESP 950s. I'm looking to upgrade, but haven't really had a chance to try many higher end phones. I know people are already bringing their hd600s, but I'll bring mine as well. I'll also bring my westone 4s and hifiman re262s

If I can get off work I'm in and wont be a walking zombie this time blink.gif. I can bring some X1's if anyone is interested.

Thanks friends to those of you who sent me the little gentle reminders about this.  wink.gif   I'm really looking forward to it.

So, if I just happen to have my Rega RP3 + integrated + speaker (maybe sub) system humming along nicely by this meet, might that be something I could consider bringing along?  I know nothing of the venue, but lately on Inner Fidelity, etc, I have noticed a good bit of blending of the cultures.  Which is always good in my view!

Best,

Dave

Hi Dave! Good of you to offer, but space is somewhat limited considering the high turnout we are expecting this time around.

Because of this, I do not recommend bringing an integrated/speaker/sub system. Also I know Morbid is bringing a TT so the Rega would be optional... but certainly bring any vinyl you'd like to audition.

Seems like a simultaneous headphone & speaker meet would require at least two isolated rooms because ambient noise and conversation can get fairly loud as-is.

I might be missing this one, Nick. Trying to work it out now, but it's not looking good.

Oh dear. Lots of toys & two great vendors at this meet... hope you can. :/

Might want to bring that Rega just in case, dmcs414...
