Newbie needs recommendation for isolation, comfort and a specific sound?

Hi, this is my first post here, though I have been reading through the post for a while.

I am looking for preferably a one headphone solution, though if it is impossible maybe a two headphone solution.

I want something with good isolation so I can keep the volume down, main uses would be exercise (gym) and travel. I mention comfort, because I can't stand for more than an hour something that puts pressure on my ear cartilage. (Have woken up due to lying on top of my ear!)

And also harsh sounds give me fatigue pretty soon.!! I know, I am a case when it comes to hearing/ears!..

As I am not an audiophile, don't really know the terms or if I am using the correctly, so no harsh sounding highs.

So to sum it up:

No harsh sounding, problems with treble fatigue/headache

Comfortable (smallish ears)

Clear speech (for travel I also watch movies/podcasts)

Travel

Gym

Listen an ecclectic mix, classical, eighties, pop, rock (not heavy metal), ballads, DON't listen to heavy metal, hip-hop, not much jazz

Budget less than $200 USD.

Thanks a lot, and sorry for the confusing post

Thank you.
I may add that for portability issues, I need them to sound good without an amp.
