Please do.  You are going to be knocked over by this!

I had to post this to illustrate the exemplary customer's service of Cavalli Audio, and Alex.

My LAu was sent out last week and I had received it on Tuesday, slightly delayed by the typhoon. The Lau is set to run at 240V, and Hong Kong is 220V. With hindsight, I should probably have mentioned this beforehand. Having set up the LAu, I quickly realized the protection circuits would not disengage, and it rendered the amp unusable. One things for sure, the protection circuits on the amp works wonderfully..........

I emailed Alex to inform him of the situation and received a reply almost immediately, I think it was probably 7.30 am local time for Alex. We exchanged a few emails and it was decided to ship the unit back to him for rectification.

Without even a suggestion from me, Alex was quick to assume all costs of shipping and arrange pick up, by FedEx. Bearing in mind this is, Hong Kong - USA - Hong Kong. He was also very apologetic about the whole situation. I am a patient person by nature and an extra 1 or 2 weeks is really not a problem at all for me.

I should add that everything about the Cavalli Audio LAu reeks of quality, From the packaging to the actual amp, the case works, the switches etc.. etc .. are all first rate. Just a shame I didn't get to hear it, as I am sure the sonics will be first rate too!!!

Once again a huge thanks to Alex, definitely a Top Man................and wonderful to deal with!!!

My LAu should return in the next two days.

Alex took a day to turn it around and shipped Monday lunchtime, so all in all approximately, just a little over one week from Hong Kong - Texas - Hong Kong. Amazing and great customer service.

Anyone else with more thoughts of the LAu while I am waiting, to whet my appetite?

Thanks.

Go to CanJam sneak preview.  Jude talks about LaU and they are going to have a dedicated review plus he was effusive about it with the Abyss calling it one of the best setups he's ever heard.

If you can't make it to CanJam, but live in Southern California, we will have at least one if not two LAu's for demo at the San Diego Head-Fi Meet on November 2nd. (One of the vendors is a Cavalli dealer and will have two in stock to sell.)

If all goes as planned, there should be a pair of LCD 3's and Sennheiser HD 800's to demo with the LAu. Or you can bring your own gear to hook up. (We tried to get a Joe to send a pair of Abyss headphones, but he opted out.)

There is no way I'm spending 40 minutes watching that video.  I still have to catch up on Breaking Bad.  Where does Jude talk about it?

Just drag your mouse on the slider until you hit the picture of Cavalli.  Only takes seconds.
