It just almost seems Alex doesn't know how to get rid of part count, so up goes the cost

That's good to hear that the LG isn't hard-to-find or rare. I so wanted to hear and try it out gs1000.gif

At $6k, it is going to be rare

I was gonna bring that up, we can't refer to them both as The LG

Way to easy to get that confused....... Liquid Gold = LG would seem to be the natural conclusion...my bad.rolleyes.gif

I mean...you get it...right? LAu for Liquid Gold? It's a science dork joke.

Alex was originally going to call the LG the LSiO2 but we talked him out of it.

I get it (LAu), but someone who isnt following to closely could easily call it the LG without thinking. Oh well.

So we officially call the Liquid Gold then when it is abbreviated LAu? I know Liquid Fire is LF while Liquid Lightning is LL. Liquid Glass would be LGl while Liquid Gold would be LGo, but they look pretty silly.

It was confirmed in another thread awhile back as LAu. Makes sense, but it is a bit goofy, I'll admit.

People don't immediately head to the periodic table when thinking about headphone amps.

Liquid Gold - LAu

Liquid Glass - LG

Liquid Fire - LF

Liquid Lightning - LL

WOW! for 6K I would really be looking how it compares to the BHSE and 009 set up. Considering that I would have to start from scratch to get the stats, this could be an alternative for ultimate fidelity. Thoughts on this comparison?
