Another great track for the K712 Pro is To Find A Friend by Tom Petty ( Wildflowers ). A great track to show off the top end of the headphone and the midrange is no slouch.
I updated my review of the K712 adding in a comparison of the Q701, HD650, and K712 Pro. In the end I preferred the K712 Pro as it had more detail on the low end. The Q701, although more airy than the K712 Pro, has some serious issues with its midrange which leads to blurring of the lows. The HD650 sounded more speaker-like than the Q701, but it has some blurry lows leading me to sway my preference toward the K712 Pro.
All three are excellent headphones and it is amazing how great they all are when you have all three sitting there in front of you read to be swapped out.
I decided with Chubb Sub by Medeski, Martin & Wood. The low end is crystal clear with the K712 Pro and blurry with both the HD650 and Q701.
