Who here watches Game of Thrones ? - Page 2

I haven't watched it since the first episode a week ago.

Can someone tell me if or when those thing (white walkers, I think) from the beginning of episode 1 becomes more involve in the story line.

You'll have to ask that to GRRM, its probably been kept for the upcoming books.

They are starting to wander around and kill stuff in the current season.

Not very friendly, if you want my opinion.

The beginning of the first episode got me hooked because of them, but after that they don't mention them no more.

I'll try to watch a few more episode, right now I have little interest in the show.  I'm trying hard to like this show, hopefully a few more episode will do it.

I just watched the first season, it's pretty good for a medieval soap opera. The history/fantasy/horror formula is addicting, and the "long winter" gives a bit of a sci-fi feel to it. Two thumbs up!

Ps: I really like dragons too very_evil_smiley.gif

I was in a similar situation when I first started watching it. I stopped after a few minutes into the first episode, it seemed to me like another one of those sorcery and witchcraft type shows.

But then I watched the second episode. And then the third. Soon I went through the entire season, and started reading the books as well.

Give it some time, it starts to pick up speed (and characters) pretty quickly, and its pretty unique in terms of the storytelling aspect.

Also, don't focus on the White Walkers too much. They're just a part of the whole story, just like dragons and a lot of other interesting stuff (building up as the story progresses in the books).

I think that she knows that that dragon will come back to her and its siblings when the time is right. The slave traders aren't righteous and the dragon will know this.

Another guess: Dany and the Snow Bastard will get together and take the iron throne eventually. No I haven't read any of the books and am probably wrong. But they seem like a perfect match.

I'm not sure if you've read the books.

Anyways, the ruling class need heirs, so its pretty hard for a queen to rule unmarried.
