How our ears perceive sound

I was browsing youtube while trying to obtain general information about our inner ears, 1st/2nd bend, etc. I came across a video that I enjoyed watching immensely, gave me a great deal of appreciation of how our ears mechanics work while the mechanics are so complex. We go on everyday enjoying music but I think most people dont realize or wonder how all this emotion from music begins with the first note of music. I thought it was pretty amazing while I watched the video.

This is the short version

The longer and more detailed version, this one was more enjoyable

Just a small nit to pick. Our ears perceive nothing. Perception is all in our brains.
