I dont need advice but for the new head-fiers needing some suggestions!
I think the Koss PortaPros are the best for the lowest price smily_headphones1.gif i dont like them but they have such good value! No specific genres or type, just all out best value!

I would say the KSC75's are surprisingly good for the price. I would also say that "value" and "low price" are two completely different things. The whole reason why I buy more expensive headphones is that I believe they offer a better value than the cheap ones.

HD419's for around 30 bucks are pretty sweet

id say any fa-003 clone.  jaycar ones for 70.  absolute steal.  i think of them as a closed hd600.

I heard HD439s been as low as $30! I too like the AIAIAI Tracks! For the given price, I find it excellent!

They were always topping the list of the best bang for the buck, and true on the sound, they are shockingly good for the price.

+1 on the Porta Pros. Or a Fostex T50RP and then mod it with BMF's DBV #3 Tutorial.

Grado SR60i/80i, enough said.

Superlux HD330 with a new cable and Beyerdynamic pads!

Absolute lowest price? That would be Sennheiser HD201, affordable $18 and very good smily_headphones1.gif

Samson 850's are my recommendation especially for the price!

Koss KTX-Pro if you want to talk absolute lowest price vs good performance.
Grado SR-60/80 otherwise, but the Koss PRO4/AA, MV1, and DJ100 are also good. smily_headphones1.gif
