Audio-GD NFB-11.32 vs. Cambridge DacMagic Plus (Which would you buy?)

Hi,

I'm faced with a difficult decision.  I can get a used mint condition DacMagic Plus for about $400, otherwise I'm thinking of purchasing a brand new NFB-11.32.  Which would you buy and why?  Is there a better option in the $400ish or less price range?  I want a DAC/Amp combo.

The DM+ comes with dual WM8740 DACs in mono mode, while the NFB-11.32 comes with the ES9018 DAC.  Ideally, I want something that can provide me with more detail sound.  Any advice or help would be a appreciated.

TIA,

WG

Just an update to this thread.  I ended up buying the DacMagic Plus, and while it was a nice unit, it didn't play well with my laptop.  I also didn't like how it worked with my Beyer's.  The WASAPI output kept crackling, but that all had to do with my laptop, not the device itself.  In any case, it irritated me so I got rid of it, since replacing my laptop wasn't an option.

I was able to buy an NFB-11.32 from a forum member around the same time I was trying to sell my DM+, and I'm happy I did.  The VIA ASIO output is vastly superior, and the unit worked much better with my laptop.  The sound was fuller, and audio was much more detailed.  I also like the build quality better than the Cambridge unit.

Thanks for that update, I was considering the same two units and your insight has helped me make up my mind.
