Personally, I do not. I spent a lot of money on my expensive gear... Only to have it mistreated by some dumb ignorant sheep that think bose and beats along with other consumer crapware is professional quality.

 

Unless the person is very close to me or very very good friends. And even than, they most agree to treat it well and be careful with it.

 

But generally... No. I do not share my equipment even for a quick demo because the first they do is bump the volume 100%.... Not only am I doing a favor to their ear drums but the drivers of my expensive headphones.

 

I also do not care to convert any idiots to real quality audio gear. Let them wallow like morons in falsehood.

Borrow (as in take home for a while to use) = NO

Demo (as in listening in my presence) = YES
