HiFlight: I agree. It's the recent trend towards multi-BA IEMs that are the culprit. I was lucky enough to demo a prototype single-driver dynamic IEM recently that would give the ~$1k front-runners a serious run for their money and would be the ticket to listening pleasure with a Tera Player I reckon. IMO the problem has been too much catering to general, rather than audiophile tastes with even the good dynamic IEMs, but that's heading off-topic.

Are you at liberty to mention the manufacturer? As a Tera owner, if the impedance of it is high enough, I'd be interested.
