"More" bass, or "better" bass?....

More. I have M-100's and I love them for traveling but I want some big boys to use while playing competitively on call of duty.

I wouldn't know from personal experience but from what I've read over time, the xb100s have really nice sub-bass but not as much mid-bass. Therefore the Ultrasones sound punchier but wont go as low when a song or sound goes into sub-bass levels. Again, this is only from what I've read so it might not be true.

If you want more bass than you can already get with typical basshead cans, you'll have to equalize a little. The pleather pads on the XB1000's will get hot with extended use, so I'd say that the Pro 900's are more comfortable over a few hours. They render bass quite well, though, so you might get what you want if you get those and EQ them. The Pro 2900's are the open version with an airier sound and less bass, so I don't think they'd be what you're looking for.
