Italians (at least on eBay) seem to ask quite high prices in general. I have noticed that many times over the past years... It's a weird combination of steep prices and oftentimes glorifying and very advertisement-like product descriptions. Seems to be a cultural thing...

I hope you get better offers, sigmas are rare but then again not that rare!

Looking at the price leaves me  amazed !  I still have my old Stax Lambas MK1 and srd7 SB box.[switch by-passed and rewired using quality solid core.]

When tested in early 80s by  UK  hi-fi mag-High -Fi Choice They were more liked by the "golden  ears" than the Sigmas

While the Sigmas had better bass and a more "natural " stereo image the Lambas had a better mid-range with more detail.

That X box they were selling with it didnt compare to the SB unit as well.lacking "power"

I am now looking at them in a different light!

Imagine how much an Italian would ask for an Orpheus then... $100k?
