He-Audio Jades Electrostatic Headphones
Will Ship To: Anywhere
This is the original pair of Jades Headphones made by Dr. He exclusively for Head-Direct. Made of real wood and leather.
Less than a dozen of these were made before Dr. He stopped making them. Fang from Head-direct, commissioned Dr. He
to invent a new electrostat to introduce into a dwindling static headphone market that lacked any new cans since the Stax Omega
SR-007 MK. II's.
The strip between the stators is thinner and stretched tighter than any electrostat made before it, which is what gives it it's undeniably
superior sound characteristics. The bass is deep, the midrange is creamy, and the highs are clean and true.
Ray Samuels created his A-10 and and Jack Wu created his WES Electrostat amplifiers, with the Jades as the benchmark to compliment
it's sound signature, but the headphones never went into full production due to the difficulty of manufacturing them.
They are problem free, have been heard at Head-Fi meets all over the country and have been treated like a cream puff ever since I got them.
MSRP was $1499 new, and they are a collector's item besides being a top-notch headphone. I am selling because I sold my Blue Hawaii
and no longer have any stat amps.
Thanks for looking.
