Need help with DIY speakers.

so recently the cable on some old headphones of mine ripped, and im trying to recable them and turn them into speakers. my  new cable isnt working. NEED HELP!

well im wrapping the wires for right now to test the connection. nothings working D:

Did you blow the speker, or is it just the cable?

pretty sure it was just the cable. the rubber casing split and the wires got frayed.

Buy some wire, a 3.5mm plug, and solder it together... there are many guides online. wink.gif

So you have 3 wires, left, right and ground. Ditto for the other side. Red to red, black to black, white to white, right?
