As a UofT student and i have been lately wondering about making a UofT head-fi club. Maybe something low-key like a meet up once a month and subsidized audio shows (eg. TAVES)

benefits would incude potential booking of toronto meets at lower costs and converting the Beat users on campus

Interest?

and send this out to fellow uoft students if you know some!

I'd prefer keeping this an exclusive thing. It's better to have a few committed and dedicated members than a lot of curious and short attention span newcomers. That being said, why bother forming a club at UofT at all? Don't we already have a head-fi base in Toronto?

forming a club has several perks such as low or free renting of rooms

theres funding

and it will hopefully be easier to facilitate toronto meets with regular get-togethers, as its currently very slow with the deciding of times and locations

i agree with keeping it from people who come once or twice but anyone in the gta region would ideally be able to attend them

Sounds like an interesting idea. I don't have any idea on how starting a club at uoft works though.
