Help Me Recable My Creative Aurvana Lives

Thread Starter

After the connector on my Creative Aurvana Lives started being faulty I decided to do a full recable with using this thread as guidance http://www.head-fi.org/t/353941/recabling-denon-ah-d1001-d1000. I think I will use Canare L-4E5C Mini Quad but I don't know which size or type of cable sleeving I should use. I'm planning on ordering from this website because they have reasonable pricing, good selection, and they ship first class http://www.redco.com/home.php.

If anyone can recommend which sleeving to use it would be appreciated!

I think it would depend on a couple of factors:

How tight do you want the weave?

Are you removing the outer sleeving of the Canare?

I've used 1/4" Tech Flex (I think, I lost the part of the package that told me the diameter) over 4x 18ish AWG (might be 20, but not any smaller than that) wires with no problems, and I know that it would also fit perfectly over Mogami W2893 with no issues, and over the W2534 with very little trouble.

In any case, this is likely the stuff you'll want:
