275 and a bit more (if i understand it correctly ofcourse!)for a retangular silver cable? Ru nuts man..u should have accept that with both hands blindly!!!!! Those cables are the most expensive ones and best sounding cables money can buy..am not kidding!!!my god..ur a lucky basterd and u said no? Ur kidding right?

frank can i have that one for that price? Plss ..oh damn..i dont have a lcd but a he500..i hate myself!!

As i wanted to say..frank did no more then a company would do..trying to find a solution for a problem according to the customer..and because he didnt have ur cable ready yet he offered the best he had for a bit higher price then his mainstream silver widow cable....

u know how unbelievable u sound now? U first wanna spend almost 300 gpb on a cable and then have a problem for a bit more for the best cable u probably will ever hear on a lcd 2 or 3 ever..u know how that sounds like right?

Wow no kidding I think I would have flat jumped on that one too. Sometimes you just have to know a great deal when you see one and get on it! Just can't fix stupid huh?

You have to specify Balanced 4 pin,3 pin L/R or Single ended.

Well in less than two weeks it will be six months since I ordered a scorpion headphone cable. I sent toxic cable a inquiry about two days ago and have not received any replies. I guess I can kiss my 160 usd goodbye. In sixty years I have never dealt with as poorly run a business as toxic cable. In comparison nothing comes even close to how poorly this company is run. Well to say I will never ever order anything from this company again unless I want to flush some money down the toilet is an understatement.

Anyone ordering anything from this company really should think again. This is one company that should be taken to court and run out of business. Talk about a shyster outfit.

I urge anyone ordering anything from toxic cable please do not.

I agree 6 months wait is excessive but Frank does not rip people off. I have purchased 4 cables from Toxic and although I have had to wait a few months they have all been delivered.

I also don't know of anybody who has not been refunded in full if requested.

I have also been waiting a couple of months, but Frank has been in regular contact with me which has been great, and its actually given me some time to figure out which headphone cable to order with his input. I've actually upgraded my order in the mean time to a Silver Poison cable and will patiently wait for Frank to work his magic. Its difficult managing a business like this on your own and especially with the value that his cables offer there will always be problems with a backlog.

Sorry for the long wait you have experienced.

I am extremely busy making cables, so messages take longer to reply to, as i am concentrating on making cables so that i can get all the delayed orders out.

I did reply to you earlier today and just came across this post. Seeing that you are so concerned, i feel it's best that you are refunded. I have now processed a full refund for you, which you could have gotten at any point by just asking.

Again, apologies for the long wait and hope you will get a nice cable elsewhere soon.

All those currently waiting, i thank you for your patience and you cables will all ship very very soon. If you have any concerns, please PM me, but do allow a little time for me to get back to you while i make your cables.

Well I finally got a reply from toxic cable and they have refunded my purchase. They at least did apologize for the inconvenience. I am glad this is over. I guess I will never hear the wonders of toxic cables.

I am sorry to hear what u went through..but we all waited long for our cables..its all manual work..myself had a few cables of other premium brands and toxic by far exceeded every expectations i had..and those were extreme high! And still are!... He even did things to upgrade the cable without any addtional costs..! How many manufacturers u know of who do that? But i agree u have to have the patience of an angel..but its so worth the wait..every single owner of a toxic cable can confirm that...EVERYONE
Its a pity u will never experience it now...
But for u am glad u at least know frank doesnt rip people off...
Most of all am glad u feel this is solved the right way in ur eyes..and thats what counts..right?
Tip: maybe u can find someone in the classifieds selling his toxic cable because of an upgrade? U never know.. biggrin.gif

Ordered Toxic Silver Widow for my fitear 334 with the knowledge that I will have it early December.

Yesterday I am told (by the local guy who collects orders for Toxic) that they are likely to be around Christmas time or after but no definite date has been provided. Also provided the news that the current order from Singapore has not even started to be made yet.

I am left up the creek with no paddle and am not even aware whether a refund is possible.

Well guys it has now been 7 months (May 21 2013) since order payment and no Silver Widow yet. But I think I will get it eventually. Frank said he was running behind and had some family issues. I think anyone who purchases a cable just know it may take a year (literally) to receive it. I have no doubt that the cables are built with integrity and with top of the line materials. I replied to Frank that I would just wait as my stock balanced cable with the LCD3 was working just fine. I am in the middle of an intensive build on my diesel 4wd truck (priority) so I will just sit by and wait to see just how long it will take to receive it. I really ordered it because it looks awesome (vanity?) and secondarily because I just don't believe that a cable being a conductor can really make any difference in audio quality and there was only one way to find out. Put my money down and buy a cable and listen to it. I will wait as long as it takes to get that Silver Widow because I want to know the truth with accessory [expensive] cables for myself not a starry-eyed "audiophile" subjective groupie opinion... If I ever really get the cable and IF it really does enhance the SQ I will be the first to report back and say that it did in fact make the listening experience more enjoyable. Looking for more air to sound stage, more instrumental separation, increased detail resolution etc. I certainly hope I am proven wrong and that the cable really does make these phones sound even better. I know it will be built with immaculate craftsmanship and will look awesome but the real test is "Will it make the headphones sound better"? That is all that matters. If I never get it then I will have gotten bit for $500. Only happens one time...

Hi everyone!

I had ordered a toxic silver cable from Frank a couple of months ago for my senns ie 80's, which i have run in over 200+ hours. They definitely do bring out the mid range/forward presence, although by comparison with the stock cable, the toxic cable reduces the sound stage quite significantly with less warmth too. Very surprised that no one has mentioned this (to my knowledge). Im going to use the stock cable for a week and go back to the toxic's to see if i'll keep em, honestly though as soon as i tried the stock cable again today, didn't realize how much i missed that wider soundstage and warmth.

Hope no one confuses this as a bashing because its not, i can definitely tell there is alot more forward presence, mid range with the toxic, which im sure many people are looking for - but after many months of listening and being adjusted to the sound, then comparing with the stock cable, its making me think that maybe Silver is not the way for me.

Custom gear always takes time. I waited 7 months for my Toxic HD800 Silver Widow cables...Well worth the wait. I have bought amps that took months to be delivered too. Firm dates on custom gear are not realistic. The quality makes the wait worth the effort.

u should have bought the BW..and not the silver widow...i had a balanced BW (black widow 8 wires) on my he500 (just sold the phone) and it was warm and powerful..but notto warm..the voices were very natural... for me still the best cable for a brighter phone is not the silver widow...but the BW..eventhough they are much cheaper...sometimes more money money doesnt mean more bliss in ur music... as i said..reading ur post...u just had to choose a BW instead of the much overhyped SW.. and u save a hump of money in the process :-)..SW is a wonderful cable...but with some phones it can be to much..and to cold...

for a darker phone like the audezes the SW does wonders...for more brighter phones...my advice..try the BW or the VIRUS..HUGE soundstage and voices are natural warm...
