Toxic Cables feedback thread - Page 2

Again, if you actually had a spare non purchased cable on hand, why even ask.

Knowing what I know now, I doubt you had one to send.

The feeling is the same Frank. Except I am out of money trying to work with your pretzel logic.

You should have simply delivered the cables on time, or as soon as a non purchased cable was available. End of excuses.

Caveat Emptor.

Frank,

you should give it a rest. There is no way you can win arguing with Jones Bob (and the likes).

The rest of your customers (and friends) still believe in you and your products, despite of what he said.

Like you said, you should go back to making cables.

Joseph

PS: I placed my order on December 17th, hence missed the previous batch by one day. But you won't see me complaining and bashing Frank for it. Or maybe I'm just a nice and a very patient guy.

@hifimanrookie: how about that for a change from a low-poster.

Hello guys,
I am not sure this guy's claims are valid and I am sure you all trust Toxic, but I think there is no reason to gang up on him. And Franck if you have minute could you answer my PM frown.gif

Anyway, since he has gotten back his refund, why is he still arguing with Frank...., to Frank, just ignore him, hope u dun waste your time on him and actually waste your time on making the cables (if you know what i mean).. what's done is done... he can go to other companies and slowly wait for his cables again...

and one thing i realise is that, he kept asking for the cables to be sent automatically.. sumthing is fishy here...

frank has already offered u an alternative and already told you the time it will be completed. why are u even complaining?

everyone here knows franks is busy making hundreds or probably thousands of cables.

be in his shoes and think. imagine yourself loaded with work and a person throws you something to do and he keeps pestering you and cant produce it because of work before yourself. how would u feel?

sounds bad but i got to say this - grow up!!

Common sense. When someone tells me they will be out of the country when they cable would be getting delivered, i want to make sure it's still OK to send. Otherwise it would be me that you would blame if it gets lost or signed for by someone other then you, for sending the package when you had told me you would be out of the country.

I was just contacted by PayPal to advise me you had attempted to open a claim for the full amount today, even after i have already refunded you the full amount using the gift method.

Guys, I think this discussion would be better done through e-mail or PM rather than making it public.

Just a thought

+1, As it has been said it is an appreciation thread, lets keep it to that.

We all know Frank makes superb cables, even if the wait for some is a long time.  He is a genuine guy making a living for himself.

I don't want to see this turn into an online argument, which it has the foundations to do so.

Frank sometimes it takes a bigger man to walk away. Lets see you being that big man.

That was my point.

Nearly all complaints on this thread to this point have all been valid and i have been to blame, and i believe i have always taken responsibility the best i can for it. There are reasons i felt i needed to defend myself on this one, and i hope most can see it.

I will now bury this matter.

Well done Frank.

No need to defend yourself as your reputation precedes you.

Your cables, craftsmanship speak for themselves, as I am about to find out soon!!

Ordered Silver Poison for Hifiman on 12/25/12......18 weeks and counting....my only consolation is that Frank has assured me that no one who ordered later than me has received their cables either....is that even possible.....
