Was expecting a Fitear IEM silver widow cable, around this time. Will await further news. Thanks and happy new year.

Happy new year mate.

I had only just finished sending out all the headphone cables, so the IEM cables are taking slightly longer then was expected, but will not be much longer now.

Frank,

I have had a pretty sore exchange with the local dealer. In summary a lot of "passing the buck" going around here.

Ideally, it would be great to get a firm date of shipping out (or delivery). This will calm a lot of my own concerns as well those of several others in the same order. I have requested the local dealer to seek this date from you.

Hi,

IEM cables will go out this month, it will not be any later.

There is no passing the buck, it starts and ends with me. Any delays are no one's fault other then my own.

Thanks for the news, Frank! I am from Singapore too and own quite a few of your fitear cables: the SW and the incredible virus, while awaiting the BW and a balanced Scorpion in this MO.

I acknowledge that our experiences in dealing with Joe are personal to each of us, but I will say that I have always been very satisfied with my own dealings: Joe is a great advocate of your cables, he had good product knowledge and he is very transparent in his dealings. Most importantly, I can see he does his utmost for order fulfillment in chasing up with you.

At the end of the day, I do look forward to enjoying my two new fitear cables. wink.gif

Frank, you mention you have headphone cables lying around: would that perchance include a Virus for headphones?

Thanks!

Thank you and i appreciate your patience.

As i have said many times before, i do not sacrifice the quality of my cables to get them out quicker or to not lose an order, there are many others who can cater for that. The cables you get from me will be perfect.  I am just glad most of my customers like yourself understnad this and are willing to wait.

Yes, Joe is great and i don't take on dealers lightly, i only allow 2 dealers to sell my cables and i get contacted every week by new people wanting to stock the cables.

Which headphones did you want the Virus for, i do have a couple ready.

Thanks for the quick reply, Frank.

Would you happen to have an 8 footer for the Audezes? I have both the LCD 2 and 3, and my Beyerdynamic T1 is modded with the same mini XLR sockets.

On a side note, Frank, is there any way I could use the same cable for my beloved but much orphaned Hifiman HE-500? Based on your market knowledge, is their an adaptor which allow me to use the Virus (terminated for the LCDs) with the HE-500?

Thanks!

On this one, I have to disagree with you.

The latest news came in today, once again on me asking the schedule. I was earlier thinking of cancelling the order. And the latest news is a joke.....!

Apologies for the further delay, it should only be a week longer. It's due to one of the blades on my high precession stripper breaking, i posted some pictures of it on the appreciation thread, so that customers can see it's not just an excuse.

I hope you will understand once reading that post.

This also applies to anyone waiting for IEM cables currently that might be reading this thread.

ok people,

so, I am by the looks of it, one of the lucky ones. I ordered a Siver Widow cable for my Senn 650s at the beginning of October and received the cable on the 20th December. The cable is wonderful and is as good as I had been led to believe,

BUT

Like a lot of other people, seem to have had issues which concerned me at the time....

1)  £170 off into the ether with just an email confirmation.

2) Email from Frank on 4th December asking for the other 50%, payment made.

3) Nothing heard by 13th December, alarm bells start ringing, have I been ripped off......

4) More email and as I said earlier, cable arrived 20/12/13.

Now I appreciate that a load of Frank's time goes into R&D, so that he only gets his time paid for in the prices that he charges, fair enough. But I think that my main issue was that having been told that my cable was ready, and having paid the rest of the money to Frank, I then waited 10 days before chasing Frank and then had to wait another week before the product was shipped.

To be fair, at all times, Frank responded to emails in a timely fashion except for the one occassion as mentioned above, I even got a Xmas card from him.

So hey-ho people, just my experience........

I hope i have the right person here.

Your original estimate given before you paid was 16 weeks, meaning you would be getting the cable next month, you later asked if it's possible to get before xmas and i said yes and got it to you before this.

When i contacted you on the 3rd, i mentioned that the cable was ready, but i still had to complete the adapter.

I find it best to notify those still pending payment a little before the cable is due to ship, as not everyone has the spare cash right away.

All emails that needed a response were responded to the same day with you.

Glad you are happy with the cable.
