LFD Phonostage LE Special (SE) in excellent condition. No scratches or marks.
Purchased from a dealer on June 2011. It was a demo unit and less than 1 month old when I bough it.
Gain can be set internally using solder: 39db or 53db. I had the dealer set it for low gain (39db). According to the Stereophile review: "...even better sonic and musical performance was had by using a step-up transformer between cartridge and Phonostage, with the latter set for low gain."
This is the upgraded Special edition, which costs $500 more than the standard edition. Upgrades include better PC-OCC input wiring, silver output wiring, taller viscoelastic isolation feet, and larger transformer.
