which headphone to buy sennnheiser momentum or mad dogs.

Also do yourself a favor and look into the Yamaha PRO 500. It has the instrument separation of the DT 1350, but with better soundstage, imaging and timbre.

Maybe more detail on what are you looking for? I like Momentum but I appreciate HD598 better but everyone have different preference

I tried on a pair of Momentums and while I did like the sound I found the ear pads a bit small for me.

Well the Momentums are definitely not as comfortable as the Mad Dogs. Can't really say much without more details.

Primarily portable use: go Momentum (make sure to try it to see if they are comfy for you!)

 

If mainly home use: go Mad Dogs (and you should invest in an amp, if you can)

Without any description of what you're looking for any recommendations would be useless. There's plenty of information on these two headphones if you've narrowed it down to just those, so read up and decide which one seems to meet more of your requirements.
