For Sale:
Sony MDR-ZX700

Will Ship To: United States

Had these since July of 2011, but I don't use them anymore. Just don't have the time to listen to music these days, so I decided to sell them, in the hopes that someone else could enjoy these more than me.

There is some scuffing on the cable, but nothing terrible and it definitely does not affect the performance of the headset. I tried getting a photo of it, but I couldn't get the camera to focus in on it. It is that small a scuff.

If any other details or photos are needed, please message me and I'll be more than happy to provide them.

I enjoyed listening to these as it is a circumaural set, and are very comfortable. My ears did tend to get a bit toasty, though. So, if you're in a cold environment, these should keep your ears nice and warm.

These are also great at noise isolation. Turns conversation volume speech into a low mumble, which I enjoyed when I used them.

Nothing wrong with these headphones.  I like them for casual listening because they are very smooth although they don't have extreme detail.  I enjoy them quite a bit.

Bump!

Thanks for your mini-review.  In hindsight, I should have included one. Super busy today. Was just focused on one thing.

No problem. I sold my technically superior Audio Technical ATH-M50 after using these. I like how comfortable the earpads are, and how coherent the sound is.

I have the MDR-1RNC as well, and still use these ZX-700 from time to time. They are just different.

Part of me still wonders how they compare to the Z1000, but that's much much more expensive.

The z700 are a bit more musical than the m50's.

Just saying :)
