NEW AND NEED ADVICE ON BEST HEADPHONES FOR METAL

I'm new head and I think I just started an exspensive but very rewarding hobby I recently purchased a pair of sanheiser CX 300 ear buds and a pair of klipsch image one's and I'm loving the klipsch but I was thinking about buying the audio technica HT50 would these be a good pair? I like to have good bass but I want to be able to hear all that's going on as some of my favorite metal is kind of busy with lots going on so does anyone recommend a good pair? I don't want to spend more than $500 and I recently purchased a FIIO E11 portable amp so something that would pair with that. Need help, thanks.

The Grado SR-60 is another fun sounding headphone for metal.  Perhaps give it a listen.

Any suggestions for ear cup headphones? I like the image ones but I like the feel of full size headphones.

I'm sorry but I guess I should have me filmed this earlier as well I will be listening to iPod classic 16o gig model if that matters.

Vsonic gr07 bass edition is the with metal,heavy metal, death metal....etc.and much much more genre biggrin.gif

Modded Grados is what I'd personnaly go for. Get something like the SR60 (as mentioned above), and if you don't enjoy the sig, those can love being modded wink.gif check out the SR-60 mod thread. http://www.head-fi.org/t/508459/sr60-mod
