Well, thank you so much for the advice but I have to check that custom tax rates and all. It might be the same price maybe even higher. European taxes can be darn scary. Anyway there is time in front of me to think about. I still want to see new comers too also.

Does actual production unit of HM-901 suffer any "pop" issue like what happened in the DX100/HDP-R10?

What is the actual battery life when the unit has been fully charged?

With the brief demo I don't recall any pop issue and that is probably the last thing you would worry about with all the bricking and restart loop issues that are being reported in China... hopefully they can fix their firmware and qc soon... I'm still very intrigued with the iem amp board bundle

No noise on startup or power down that I hear.

Hi! I'm pretty interesting in get one HM-901 so I have a question. It does perform any kind of crossfeed effect? If it does, could you explain the feature.

No cross feed.

jamato8 could you tell me what the cables (connecting to/from the docking plug) that are in the box are for?

What I am thinking of is if there is a:

1) line out cable

2) USB DAC function cable?

3) USB data exchange (only) cable?

4) Something else?

Best regards,

LarsHP

I don't know what the stock cables are that will be released with the 901. I have a line out cable, that bypasses the amp section and I have one with rca jacks for input, which I assume is to take the input from a source and use the internal dac and amp. The USB to load a card if in the 901.

So no USB DAC cable?

In the video review in the other HM-901 thread the reviewer says in the end that there is a USB DAC cable with it.

Did you try using the HM-901 as USB DAC with the cable you got?

Well, this is what I am checking out, because I have heard different people saying different things about just that. I also find it hard to believe. If it isn't going to be available as USB DAC via a cable it's just a matter of time before such cables will be offered by a cable specialist.

I don't think it is a USB dac.
