Do you prefer in-ear earphones or headphones?

I usually use in-ear earphones, which I think can keep most of the noise away since I usually listen to music in subway. But headphones surely have their own advantages. What do you guys prefer?

in-ear, for many reasons.
Its usually hot where I live, and everytime I put my hd202 on, I sweat like hell (sold them today, btw) also having a fan blowing directly to the face isnt very healthy. Portability is another good reason, as well as noise isolation.
soundstage is what iems lack compared to fullsize, but luckily thats one of the last things I need as long as I can achieve good SQ smily_headphones1.gif

Headphones at home, in-ears in transit or any other place not my home only cuz of the headphone hair

I'm not a big fan of sticking things in my ears. I'll only use in ear when I have to.

Actually, I think it's better to use headphones at home, according to some health study. But all I have now is just a pair of in-ear earphones(SoundMagic). Now I think I had better buy a headphone. What will you recommend?

I used to be all about IEM's because of their portability and sound isolation, but now I'm finding that I'm gravitating towards full-sized headphones. In addition to the soundstage, they have better impact and sound more natural.

In ear when laying on the bed.

Full size when at work or having fun.

In ear forever. Small and compact

Full-sized headphones for critical, close listening at home.  I like in ears but don't like not being aware of my surroundings when I'm out. I started out with earphones when first coming here and was wowed by what these little things can do, but graduated up to headphones later on and couldn't ever go back unless I truly needed the portability or form factor or unless it was a FitEarToGo 334/iems more comparable to headphones or something.
