SOLD: Gorgeous Numark HV-215v Vintage Headphones

Looking to sell off some of the headphones that I no longer use.

Here's a numark retro-DJ style headphone from the early 90's/late 80's era. They are open-backed, supra-aural dynamic headphones with 45mm transducers. They have a dated but attractive look and have dual volume controls.

Sound is relatively good. Not extremely detailed but better than consumer grade, airy sound with a good, mid-sized soundstage. Quite bassy, but not overpowering. decent mids, good highs.

Build quality is wonderful and the headphones are almost flawless. Metal yokes and headband core, and a thick vinyl sleeve on the headband. ABS cups, chromed plastic baffle plate. The chrome looks and feels like metal. Soft, supple velour earpads; very comfy, though they clamp a bit. The cable is nice as well, short with a large coil and a 1/4" jack, definitely designed for DJ use.

These have been tampered with in the past but I have undone any modifications and they work perfectly. There is a slight channel imbalance caused by the volume controls, but it's not a problem. Just don't turn the left up all the way.

I will ship via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping charge is $10 (not included in headphone price).

Price is open to discussion. PM me.

Thanks!

Hmmm, I'm no DJ but those look pretty neat. Know the impedance on them?

I have no clue. I'm going to give a guess of about 32 ohms considering the time period and driver type. They are quite easy to drive and the short cable makes portable use a breeze.
