Aw shucks.  Thanks.

I am quite certain you can build a Bottlehead.

Send me a PM and I'll point you in the right direction.

Whew... that is a little pricey IMO. I heard it at the SD meet, very nice but similar in performance to the GS-X mk2. If it was my only amp I would definitely consider it. Maybe if someone sells one used!

Go Dynahi or go home.  "Some" say the best SS amp ever made..

Already in the works. In the meantime, I order a Master 9... so that should be here soon hopefully. Received a shipping notice it will take 5 days to ship, so maybe in a few weeks.

Eric,

Is the HE-6 new since you sold the TH900? Have you considered a vintage amp for those HE-6's? From what I've read on that thread it may be the way to go, either HPO or speaker taps.

The HE-6? Sounds like you need a Dark Star or something with some serious voltage. ;)

I recognize all the Blue Circle equipment. (I have owned a lot of their low-end equipment and enjoyed it a lot and have heard their good stuff at shows and at a dealer friend's house).  But what is the tube equipment you have?  The photo isn't big enough for me to really tell.

I, too, remember that amp. Next step is to "move up" to some high grade Audio Note dual C-cores OPTs. I think the nickel ones only run about  £4300 - £11,400, each (multiply roughly by 1.5 to get to USD)!
