Pictures Of Your High End System II (Same Rules Apply) - Page 23

I made a post in Schiit Gungnir asking if anyone has every used Dirac Live Room Correction Suite.

Thought I'd ask here as well.

I'm working with the 14 day eval.

Awesome review. Quality amp. But are the Audeze to smooth already for a value sound, unlike the great match with the brighter hd800?

It still works well I think. The amp is a good compromise between smooth and detailed.

Thought I'd share my most recent upgrade.  A new preamplifier with Western output transformers so that i'd be able to completely transformer couple my system from the preamp down. A neat feature is that I'm able to switch the preamp from transformer to cap out so that it will pair nicely with all amplifiers.  I purchased it over the Audio Note M8 and Shindo Petrus which I auditioned at the same time.  Please excuse the iPhone pictures as it was all I had at the moment.  If you scroll to the middle of this page, the preamp is pictured and was used in the DejaVu Audio system at Capital Audio Fest which was very favorable reviewed by Art Dudley.

For all those that don't follow the Headphone section thread... saying goodbye to a killer amp (GS-X mk2).

Not sure yet, something more beefy for the HE-6. Might get a Master 9 to see what all the fuss is about.

Whew... that is a little pricey IMO. I heard it at the SD meet, very nice but similar in performance to the GS-X mk2. If it was my only amp I would definitely consider it. Maybe if someone sells one used!

RSA The Dark Star would be my choice, stunning looks and from what I have read, equally stunning performance :)
