+1 - I wish my house had that warmth...

the natural cherry finish goes nicely with the décor.  the wife approval factor? ...well, they are gi-normous.

spooky green LED lets you glimpse the crossover mechanism...

not overly enamoured with the "titanium encrusted midrange driver."  it has a rough appearance than makes it look like it needs dusting.  LOL
strange that the accordion folded gasket is not rubber, but a piece of cloth that allows some of the green LED light to show through.
weird...

the most flattering angle for the Aeris is this one.  I love the side detail.
the straight-on view of the front is of a massive speaker.  it softens considerably when viewed off-axis...

first impressions?
I still have a long way to go with the listening room.
and with settings, positioning, and the like.

but, it works.  all drivers are moving.  and no dents or dings spotted.
so there you go.

thanks for letting me gush about my new babies...

cheers,
The Wuss

I am going down Friday to see and hear the first pair of Black Pearl Aeris after getting an email from Legacy.

I absolutely adore your listening space. The other pic that you have showing outside to the garden as well, you should post that one here too! I also like that there is no TV or computer to be seen.

It was just purchased out of opportunity/curiosity, acquired before the KGSSHV.  It is an Aristaeus inspired variant.  It will probably be out the door at some point, as the KGSSHV makes my SR-007MK1 sound great.  The KGSSHV will be my only e-stat amp.  We will see how it fares with the SR-009 and hopefully one day the Jade 2.0.

I know I'm finished dynamic wise with the L-2.  It is sublime.  It's so good that it's got me wanting to re-try some of the dynamic flagships that I've heard and sold, like the HD800 and T1.

My current Headphone system, sorry for this terrible picture taken by ipad mini:wink_face:

Not sure whether they are High-end enough to be here:o The source is MSB reference platinum CD station III, headphone amp is Headroom Max balanced. This combo drives balanced HD800 and T1 very well and I am fairly satisfied with them now.
