Nice setup John, but who is winning the battle, the 007's or 009's?

Thank you !

I just finished putting in an attenuator and a volume knob turned from figured maple.  I've been wanting that and it turned out exactly as I imagined.

Thanks again.

Absolutely beautiful! Where is a good resource for the BOM and schematic for this baby. I've been wanting to build a 300b headphone amp.

Delighted to help.

Here is my Build Thread documenting my journey, as it happened, from start to finish.  The design is by Tom Christiansen.  He's a sr. design engineer for Texas Instruments, it took him three years to design it.  Mine is the first implementation as a HP amp.

Do not hesitate to PM me for any info, help, whatever.

I would be stoked if you built one.  Then I'd have someone to compare notes with.

I also have a few spares I'd be happy to give you.

The honeymoon faze of the 009s wore thin pretty quickly, found myself reaching out for the 007s more today.

I need some decent sleep at the moment, the detail of the 009 just grated on me...

I hate to repeat myself again as I've mentioned this in another thread before, but that is one massive looking amp sceleratus. The LCD2's is a dwarf in comparison.

Absolutely beautiful amplifier.  I wish I had the skills to build something like that but at last, I know my limitations.

Did you do everything including the woodworking?  All I can say is WOW!!!
