Htc One - Page 31

Does anyone know how the HTC One sounds with the Westone 4R?

What about the VSonic GR07 MK2 Pro? They are around the same price on Amazon. Yamahas are $168 (+taxes) and VSonic $179 (no taxes).

Spent the summer with HTC one and Momentum. I think it really is a nice portable rig, but feel the HTC One needs to have some volume to make the Momentum shine. On my desktop amps, I do not feel the Momentum needs volume to shine. I really thought the Momentums were good on my iPod Classic and the iPhone4 - on lower volume I found it better on lower volumes. The iStuff seems brighter, and brings some sparkle to the Momentum..

I'm a complete newbie to the audiophile world but, I figure life is too short to live with subpar sound.

My first question is am I the only person that gets this static hiss sound from the One's jack? I noticed less of that sound when on Airplane mode and with Beats Audio off.

My second question is what sort of DAC setup can I run on the One via USB and do I have to run an Amp after the DAC?

Lmfao I just noticed my S/N has a typo in it :( guess I'll be living with that.

Yes; there is a bit of hissing with the HTC One but it's unnoticeable when playing music.

Think its a match made in heaven. The 4Rs really sound an awful lot better than compared to my latest Ipod Touch. I never used an amp, since its too tough to buy them here in my country. But SQ wise the 4Rs are brilliant,One + Poweramp.+ FLAC= L3000.gif

I hear the hiss with the suppliedIEMs but not at all with the Momentum.

For those who want to utilize the HTC One's IR blaster for their audio equipment (or whatever), this app is really neat. Simple and easy to program manually.

I use the s2's with my HTC One at work and love the match, highly recommended.

Sorry. I've not heard the eph 100's. I don't use any amp with the s2 and the HTC One and I don't feel any need to either.

I found them to be very comfortable. They are also very well buildt. However they are a shallow fit due to the big housing (takes some time to get used to) and isolation is only average.

And yes, they are really good!
