LOD cable for different version iDevices, that also provides charge

Hi, this is my first post so take it easy... smily_headphones1.gif

After a bit of research I think I've decided to purchase the C&C BH portable amp and Audio Technica ATH-M50 cans.

I also need a LOD cable but am really wanting to be able to charge my "iDevice" at the same time when I'm listening (as my amp will), so I assume I'd need a LOD cable that splits to line out and USB...? I've noticed many people's rigs on here don't have this type of cable, and instead only have the straight LOD audio cable...?

I also have a new iPad4 (lightning port) and an iPhone 3GS (30 pin port), so would I be best to buy multiple plugs and just one good cable I can switch between them?

OK, so I bought a cheap splitter cable that goes to USB and line out.  I figured worst case I could use it in the car if needed.

 

I think I'm going to get a straight through copper cable off ebay for around AU$40.  I think my amp will mean my iPhone won't be working as hard so charging it constantly may not be an issue.

 

I can't find any LOD cables which are for the new iDevice lightning port, so I'll probably just grab the 30pin to 8 pin (lightning) adapter if i want to listen to music on my newer iPad.
