IC: Los Angeles Regional Meet - July 20, 2013

This thread is created to get a discussion going for a meet in the July 2013 time frame. Once we have an idea of headcount, equipment, etc.. we can look at venue options. Please respond if you are interested and if you have ideas for venues and specific dates in mind. I will be able to bring all of the gear in my sig. Let's do this!

 

UPDATE: Date is now set for July 20 from 10am-5pm.

Very interested. No venue in mind. I'm very flexible about dates and times.

 

EDIT: I would like to bring my cd player, two amps, and two headphones. I can pay admission or donation.

Definately in. Any date during summer should work just fine.

If it's summer, I should be able to bring Parasound D/AC 1600HD+KGSSHV+SR-007MK1 and a small dynamic rig. All depends on how far it's from the LA proper.

Willing to pay a reasonable admission fee or make a small donation.

I'd be interested. Summer is a great time. No problem with admission/donation fee.

Can't provide any useful venue options in LA at this time.

It's great to see so much interest! I'm going to start looking at venue options this week. This will likely be a paid event similar to last year's big meet at LAX; I will also be reaching out to MOT's once we have a more concrete plan nailed down.

 

I'm also looking for any people that may want to get involved in the organization of this meet. Please send me a PM.

Interested; would be able to bring LCD 2.5s, Alo Pan Am/Passport, Arcam rPAC, Amperiors, maybe some more if I'm lucky (birthday coming up biggrin.gif)

Of course, this all assumes I will have a car and a license by then.

I am interested, but I work a lot on Saturdays, so it just depends on the date.

 

If I am not working, I could probably make the drive up.

 

I would bring:

Stax 407, Stax 323A, Smyth Realiser A8, (and possibly a speaker set up to do demos of the Realiser, but I would need a separate room/closet to do the demo.)

 

I may also be able to demo some new headphone software that's yet to be announced...
