i think complaining a quality or design problem is good for companies. If I could contact b&w uk directly, but i counldn't make it.b&w uk just throw this problem to b&w china, like kicking a soccer, and tell me "not my charge"(even i used english lettle in those email.).

and b&w china 's guy tell me if my case is an individual even, the b&w uk would take care of it.that's the whole story.

btw i note some of you care about b&w product.

b&w china's guy told me there ware A grade and some"B" grade P5 sold in HongKong.which "B" grade means there are some scrarches or some tiny defection with it.so the "B" grade would be sold in a lower price by some distributor.(note what i said just in Hongkong, and I don't know whether the "distributor" is authorized).

and the b&w china guy was sure that every b&w has warranty ONLY IT GOES WITH INVOICE(even "B" grade things).

every b&w headphone products sell in mainland China is A grade, but it would distributed by Apple inc. China mainly via official e-shop.that is a good news for chinese consumers!

every word has mentioned before, was quoted from a telephone comunication with b&w china.even I can tell you the name of b&w china's guy for a proof.

and you can keep your own thinking and judgement.

posting a thread under the law and some rules is everyone's right.and I do hope to comunicate everyone politely except one.thank you.

If you really want to resolve the issue with your B&W P5 headphones - which incidentally most posters here seem to think are counterfeit - package them securely and ship to -

Mark the package `Private & Confidential' to stop B&W minions intercepting it, write a polite explanatory letter and ask for assistance. This is what I did with another headphone company that I thought were fobbing me off, and the M.D. wrote a nice apologetic letter and send a brand new pair of headphones to replace the defective ones.

The shipping may cost you $25 but wouldn't it be worth it to sort this out?

If however, you continue to make implausible excuses why you can't do this or that, then we'll all know that you're just trolling.

your reply is pretty honest, thank you very much.

this headphone is now in b&w china,Shenzhen ,I guess it would take a while since they return it.

But I think I get to give it a try mail this defective one to b&w UK ,I'm not sure if Mr Atkins finnally get my package , But I think this is a good way to prove my words and the sincerity of a Big Company.

PS:there might be not enough 25$ for shipping, and it could occur some tax charged by custom, and It might delayed while custom check.SO BE PATIENT waiting for the response.
