How did you come to that conclusion? 5.1 and 7.1 sound cards work just fine for 2.0 music. All you have to so is set the audio output as stereo.

I don't have any experience with the other cards you mentioned. From my experience I think the Ti-HD handles all genres very well. From my understanding the dac in the Ti-HD is solid, so if you're going with a higher-ohm headphone you would only need the amp, but you can always try going directly into the sound card first and see what you think and add the amp later.

The Microstreamer will suit any genre you're into...and best of all the damn thing sounds really good....o2smile.gif

Gonna consider ... but if it was one of these three .. which one do you recommend

okay ,, if i got the TiHD i would still have 50$ extra ... do u know any cheap decent amp at this price  ?
